Welcome to “Thursday’s Three”! In these posts, we will give you three things that we are loving this week. We’ll include things we are reading, using, laughing about, and more! So, Momma, take a few minutes for yourself and ENJOY!
- I am READING Proverbs 31 Ministries each morning. A sweet friend from school introduced me to these devotions that are emailed to you each morning. They even have an app that helps you give the first 5 minutes of your morning to God. I have made it my morning routine and it has really encouraged and challenged me each day. If you are looking for a way to bring God’s peace into your extremely busy life, I recommend starting your mornings with the influential women of Proverbs 31 Ministries.
- I am USING the stationary that I found in Target’s Dollar Section. First off, who doesn’t love a handwritten letter? Opening the mailbox and finding these beauties amidst junk mail and bills is sure to brighten anyone’s day. Thanking one person per day was listed in Tim Ferriss’ inspirational podcast which we featured in our first edition of Thursday's Three. Reach out to someone to say how much you appreciate them… and do it on this cute stationary… which was $1.
- I am LISTENING to Wilkes’ Music for Aardvarks CD. We recently rearranged our living room and are letting the new arrangement “marinate” for a while. In the meantime, our TV is not hooked up and this CD is playing on repeat. If you and your child do not participate in a music class, join one ASAP. Wilkes and I found a really fun class called Music for Aardvarks last summer. Memphis friends, the UPP offers this as a FREE class on Tuesdays at 10:30. Mr. Adam is the teacher, and he does a fantastic job!
