I live in Athens, home of the University of Georgia, so weekends in the fall are full of football related events. Band practice on Friday nights, tailgating on Saturday, and thanking the Lord at church on Sunday for a win, all require appropriate attire. Can I get an AMEN?!
It's hard enough to coordinate my four littles ones for all of the events yet alone find styles for myself. I know that I am not alone in this so we have teamed up with some of our FAVORITE brands to bring you Five Football Styles for your littles AND you!
Of course, Grace and James Kids has something for EVERY occasion and since football in the south is an occasion in itself, you have to know that we have tons of options. We also adore all of the earrings and necklaces from our friend Betsy over at Tilton Street. The fact that a portion of every sale goes towards True Vineyard, which is an organization that empowers Rwanda’s most vulnerable woman by providing jobs, education, and hope, makes us even more proud to shop with her!
This week we have also partnered with Atlanta based stylist, momma of three, and all around super-woman Savannah Boyd of @shesheartofstyle to show you some of our favorite Mommy styles for fall from Mulberry and King.
THIS light blue tiered ruffle dress literally has over 400 people waiting for it to be re-stocked. Luckily G+JK mommas have first dibs so grab this dress before it sells out (again)! I already have it in my cart for this fall when we visit Mary Agnes and her family in Oxford, MS to cheer on our Rebels. The baby blue will pair perfectly with the light blue cord custom bottoms and football helmet polo that Mac will wear. Our new Wallys from Footmates are also the perfect option for our big boys this fall. I love how the customizable Claire Skirts can be paired with the Cheerleader Trio shirts during football season and any other custom appliquéd or embroidered shirt for the rest of the year.
Miss out on the dress? I love how a new pair of earrings like this raffia tassel pair from Tilton Street can bring a whole new look to an outfit you already have in your closet.
We introduced you to our Grace Bonnets a few weeks ago and think that they are a darling option for fall too. Coordinate the piping to match your favorite team OR add a custom embroidery or monogram to the back. Grace and James Kids has several appliquéd and embroidery options for shirts and they can all be customized with any names or phrases, fonts, and colors that you like. Make sure to check out our customizable bottoms too! As you know, it's about 100 degrees until the middle of football season so we are loving these red sandals for our boys and girls as well as the colorful cheer Footmates. The red striped embroidery dress and red sleeveless tiered dress from Mulberry and King would both be great options for those hot games in September. These red Tilton Street earrings will be making more than a few appearances at our UGA tailgates this season as well!
As the weather gets cooler, the G+JK Football Sweater is a great option. It's customizable and perfect for any team. Our new football knit turtleneck was handpainted by our sweet friend Eden Travis from @cartyandcat and is darling paired with our custom bottoms and layered under the Football Sweater. This yellow tiered dress with ruffles is a perfect transitional piece from summer to fall and will also be perfect as we transition from winter to spring. When you find something you love, you wear it again and again, right?!
