How and where can I promote?
When you sign up for the program, you will be given an affiliate code and your own user dashboard where you can track all of your referral stats and purchases. Your affiliate link will look something like this yourname.com/?aff=1. The number after the "=" is your unique affiliate ID number.
To link to an item URL with your code, simply place your affiliate code "/?aff=#" at the end of any of our product links or homepage.
For example: If you are promoting our Ballet Slipper Knit Sweater the URL would be:
https://graceandjameskids.com/collections/custom-knits/products/ballet-slippers-sweater
and you would add your affiliate code at the end:
https://graceandjameskids.com/collections/custom-knits/products/ballet-slippers-sweater/?aff=test
You will be given a unique affiliate code and link once you sign up.
One of the most popular ways to promote our store or products is by placing a link to our store/specific product with your affiliate code in your Instagram stories using the SWIPE UP feature. If the code is too long you can shorten it using the shortening tool in your admin panel.
Note* once you shorten your code, It will look something like this http://bit.ly/2nmks0P. your affiliate code will not be visible but trust us it’s there, it’s simply hidden.
- Post an image of your child(ren) in G+JK or from our website, emails, or IG .
- Add your code to your SWIPE UP feature when you post to stories.
- Tell followers why you love the product and give any details that they may need.
- Remember to throw in your affiliate discount code to sweeten the deal!
And that's basically it. You can, of course, do this any way you think is best for your audience.
When someone makes a purchase for one or multiple products you will automatically receive an email notifying you of the purchase, how much it was for and how much you earned.
Blog
If you would like to promote on your blog you can follow many of the steps found in the Instagram section above. Use a good image with text and link it back to the corresponding product or page with your affiliate code in the link. It's that simple.
How and when will I get paid?
Cookies (how long your code stays on the customer's browser) are good for a whole 10 days! So if they make a purchase within 10 days, you will be credited.
We do not require a minimum to cash out. If you sell one product and make $5 you can still cash out. Just shoot us an email and we will pay you within 48 hours. In the admin panel of your affiliate page, you will be able to set up your PayPal.
If you choose to be paid through PayPal then you will receive the full commission amount. If you choose to be paid through a Grace and James Kids gift card, we will throw in an extra 25% commission. That means that if your pay out is $100 then we will deposit that amount into your PayPal OR issue you a Grace and James Kids Gift Card for $125.
That's pretty much it. It's all automated. We do ask that you abide by our Brand Ambassador/Affiliate agreement which outlines our partnership in terms of gifted items and responsibilities.Any restrictions or stipulations?
As you have probably assumed, we do not allow our affiliates to gain commissions from their own orders they purchase themselves, sorry, no double dipping. That's all! Promote away!
